About Me

Megan Nye, Personal Finance Freelance Writer - Content Marketing ServicesHi there!  And welcome!

I’m Megan Nye.

I’m a 30-something wife and mom with a career, a house, and a serious need for more hours in the day.

Here’s my story . . .

It started back in graduate school when I first started living completely on my own — far away from everyone I knew — in a small apartment, on a teeny tiny income, and with a ton of school and home management tasks to tackle.

I had to get creative quickly.  How could I get the most for my money?  (My weekend entertainment budget was $5!)  How could I get organized and finish my degree while still having a life?

I learned.

A few years later, I was challenged even more!  I got married, moved into a new place with my husband, and started working with him toward saving up for a home, a kid, and the whole dream.

In those days, his career required him to study 800 or more hours a year around working full time.  So I took on a lot of our family’s upkeep around my own full-time job.

What changes could we make to save enough for a downpayment within a few years?  How could we combine all of our stuff in an organized way?  What was the best use of my time as I tackled home projects, professional goals, and personal dreams?

These days, I’ve got more going on than ever before.  I’ve started a business.  We’ve bought a house.  And we’ve got a little boy who’s always on the move!

I’ve had to identify my priorities, use the resources I’ve got to pursue them, and get rid of the noise.

Sometimes it’s an absolute struggle to make smart money choices, stay organized, and use my time the best way I can.  But I’ve learned a lot along the way!

So I started Prioritized Living . . .

Prioritized Living is about making the most of it all.

If you’re like me, you have so much to do and so many roles to play every . . . single . . . day.

It’s hard not to get caught up in the minutiae of life. And it’s easy to get overwhelmed.

You know — the stuff that gets in the way of what’s really important — being present in the moment, enjoying your loved ones, contributing meaningfully to the world, and achieving the dreams that matter to you.

  • If you’re tired of running yourself ragged and still feeling as though you’re not doing enough . . .
  • If you’re sick of feeling as though you don’t have the time or money to be the awesome person you are . . .
  • If you’re ready to get in the driver’s seat and start living your priorities . . .

. . . well, you’re in the right place!

At Prioritized Living, I offer practical solutions for busy moms who want it all.

That includes smart money management, setting goals, maximizing productivity, and keeping yourself organized along the way. I empower women with the information, tools, and support they need to manage the day-to-day better . . . all so that they can live their priorities – what really matters to them!

Welcome to Prioritized Living!
